It got me, too!

My servers had been running with the setting to ignore priority for 10 years; when I set up my latest 3 servers, I set them to obey the priority, to test something.

Then, I forgot I'd changed it - so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why emails from the same user always sat there until night time!

I hate getting old...

Anyway - no, it won't hurt anything to set your server to ignore priority.

We have 2 users that will occasionally send out a couple hundred emails at once - I was going to test having them set the priority on their messages to try to limit the impact during the day - and try the same with Jounaling; but have never gotten around to it...
